A silent auction is a type of fundraising event where items or services are displayed for attendees to bid on discreetly. Instead of an auctioneer calling out prices, participants write their bids on a sheet of paper placed next to each item. At the end of the auction, the highest written bid wins the item. This allows for a more relaxed and strategic bidding process, making it an exciting way to support our event while potentially scoring some great deals on unique items and experiences!
The businesses of Staunton have REALLY stepped up to to the plate and donated some incredible items for us to auction off this year. Be sure to stop by the auction next to the Sunspots Pavilion to see what unique items you can score!
